I forgot to update , ive been so busy . My painting Melting Jungfrau was shortlisted for the David Shepherd wildlife artist of the year award in the Mall galleries London this june . It not only sold on the night but also won the wild places category :-)

En plein air switzerland sketchbook

My sketchbook is erratic , what goes into it pleases me personally and is never for sale because the images in it are not finished pieces , but rather an ecclectic collection of images that inspire me in some ways . it may be shape or colour or it may be simply the only thing i can see in front of me at the time .  I learn by doing and i do it in my sketchbook . These are in soft pastel  , pastel pencil or acrylic .
